== Biography ==
Mary was born in England by 1607. She was baptized 26 July 1607.
She later immigrated to the New World. Several sources suggest she came over with some of her siblings; this is supported by their known residences in Rhode Island at that time, and that her parents remained in England.
Mary married John Peckham in Newport in 1638, when Rhode Island was just being established. Together, they had four children:
# Thomas Peckham,
# Mary (Peckham) Saunders,
# John Peckham,
# William Peckham.
Mary passed away around 1648.
John remarried and had several more children by his second wife Eleanor.
