Desire married on 1 March 1732/3 [[Arnold-8753|John Arnold]] (d. 20 Jun 1801 at E. Greenwich, R.I.), the son of Captain William and Deliverance (Whipple) Arnold, at East Greenwich or Warwick, Rhode Island. "Rhode Island Marriages, 1724-1916", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F8KC-KYD : 22 January 2020), Desire Joyce in entry for John Arnold, 1732. John was an inn holder and was referred to as "Major" in the East Greenwich, Rhode Island land records.
Desire Joyce Arnold died at East Greenwich, Rhode Island on 18 July 1771.
