John Corie's birth is estimated at about 1582 based on birth of his child less 25 years. He may have been the John Corye, sailor, who was buried 1 Sep 1621, at St. James Parish, Bristol, England.Wilcox, Wayne Howard Miller. John Corie married 13 Jun 1606 at St. James Bristol, to Agnis Wauker. Agnis was probably the Ann who was bpt 26 April 1582, at St James, daughter of William Wauker who was married to Alice Payne. Agnis married second John Roome, merchant, 25 May 1622 at St. James. She and Roome migrated to Rhode Island where she died after 22 Oct 1669 but before 1770. In Rhode Island she was variously Ann, Anna, Annis. The familysearch.org index show the marriage as 13 Jun 1605 but the actual register is dated 1606.
