(Research):He was badly burned with powder, Loading shotgu n shells he extracted the p owder from 2 shells which did n ot fire, to check if the powder was O K, he tested it wit h a match, it flashed up, ignited a further 2 poun ds of p owder, a couple of feet away. His chest was badly burned, s etting f ire to his clothes and the house, but these fire s wer quickly extinguished .
