Großmutter Ilse von Wahlen, Tochter des Wolferts von Wahlen zu Dötlingen. (Deren Mutter war Maria von Ritzerau, Tochter des Paul von Ritzerau in Niedersachsen). Eltervater Anton von Harling zu Eversen in Bienebüttel, Eltermutter Anna von Bothmer, Tochter Volradts von Bothmer. Ureltervater Otto von Harling zu Eversen, Erbgesessener.
