Häufig Tagsatzungsabgeordneter der Fürstabtei St. Gallen. 1664 Grossrat von Solothurn, 1676 Erwerb des Schlosses und der dazu gehörigen Gerichtsherrschaft Berg im Thurgau sowie von Schloss Wartegg bei Staad (SG).
