1786 wurden die Freiherren Karl Abraham Oswald Czettritz von Neuhaus auf Schwarzwaldau und Heinrich Siegmund Czettritz von Neuhaus auf Berghof in Schlesien in den preußischen Grafenstand erhoben. Mit dem letzteren erlosch 1835 der gräfliche Zweig im Mannesstamm. Dessen Tochter Elisabeth (1782–1864) war mit dem Grafen Friedrich von Hardenberg verheiratet.

Am 22. November zu Berlin: Herr Heinrich Sigmund Graf von Czettritz und Neuhauß, aus einem der ältesten Geschlechter Schlesiens. Herr der Güter Berghof, Wenigmohnau, Kleinmohnau, Pohlschildern, Merschwitz und Herrndorf. Geboren am 14.12.1749 in Schwarzwaldau im Fürstenthume Schweidnitz. Ein Sohn des Herrn Adam Gotthards, Freyherrn von Czettritz und Neuhaus und seiner Mutter Frau Helene Ernestine gebohrene von Kreckwitz aus dem Hause Klische und Goerblitz. 1780 heyratete er in Berlin Fräulein Louise Juliane von Schack, mit welcher er drei Gräfinnen Töchter zeugte.
