Sir Edmund Brydges, 2nd Baron Chandos of Sudeley was born before 1522.
He was the son of Sir John Brydges, 1st Baron Chandos of Sudeley and Elizabeth Grey.
He married Dorothy Bray, daughter of Edmund Bray, 1st Lord Braye and Jane Halliwell, circa 1548.
He died on 11 March 1572/73.
He was buried at Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England.
His will (dated 1 March 1572/3) was probated on 5 June 1573.
Sir Edmund Brydges, 2nd Baron Chandos of Sudeley held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wootton Bassett between 1545 and 1547.
He fought in the Battle of Musselburgh on 27 September 1547.
He was invested as a Knight Banneret.
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gloucestershire between September 1553 and December 1553.
He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Chandos of Sudeley, co. Gloucester [E., 1554] on 12 April 1557.
He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire in 1559.
He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 23 April 1572.
