N.B.6 Aaltien Geerts Veuger (1.1.1.2.3.) laat op 26 mei 1738 een kind dopen, genaamd Jantien Stoffers. Zij is echter niet getrouwd, zodat in het doopboek wordt vermeld: "Onegt is dit". Aaltien Veuger verklaart, dat Stoffer Hendriks Lunenborger de vader is van het kind. Stoffer wordt aangesproken op dit feit, maar hij ontkent de vader te zijn en weigert te trouwen. De vader en voogd Geert Hendriks Veuger laat het er niet bij zitten en gaat een rechtsgeding aan, teneinde een huwelijk af te dwingen. Deze zaak wordt zelfs in hoger beroep uitgevochten voor "de Etstoel" het hoogste gerecht in Drenthe. Dit soort kwesties werd echter meestal verloren door de eisende partij, omdat er geen directe getuigen waren. Ondanks de gedetailleerde getuigenis van het meisje, wordt Stoffer vrijgesproken en blijft ze met de gebakken peren zitten. Tenslotte is het kind Jantien jong overleden (voor 1745). (Lottinks Sententie 24-06-1738, Etstoel Assen - Uitspraak 01-07-1739).
