De Commissaris der Koningin in de provincie Overijssel verklaart dat aan Johan Gerhard Willemsen, geboren te Enschede op 17 Februari 1886, zoon van Hendrik en van Maria Elisabeth Bollacke, bij de loting voor de lichting der nationale militie van het jaar 1906 voor de gemeente Enschede is ten deel gevallen nr. 206, dat, buiten oproeping gebleven zijnde, hem tot geen dienst heeft verplicht.

Gerhard Willemsen was meer dan 20 jaar koster van het kerkje van de Evangelisatievereniging "Twekkelerveld". Hij woonde met zijn beide dochtesr, die altijd ongetrouwd gebleven zijn aan de Olieslagweg 3 in een twee-onder-één-kap huis. De andere helft van dit huis, nr. 5, werd aanvankelijk bewoond door de voorganger, de heer W.B. Buitenhek en vanaf circa 1951 door de familie Voortman. Achter deze beide huizen stond het kerkje. In 1967 werd het kerkje onttrokken aan de eredienst en werden inventaris en verder toebehoren verkocht aan de leden. Het gebouw was nog jaren in gebruik als magazijn van de naastgelegen buizenfabriek EGMO, een nog bestaand bedrijf dat thans heftrucks vervaardigd. De klokkenstoel met de luidklok werd verkocht aan de heer G.J. ter Welle, die er zijn buitenverblijf, het vacantieoord De Hölterhof mee verfraaide. Op zondag 17 december 1967 werd de klok daar in gebruik genomen, en geluid door Gerhard Willemsen, die daarvoor speciaal uitgenodigd was.
