De ouders woonden in hun schip, maar waren gedomicilieerd in Drachten.
Het overlijden van Hiltje Huitema werd aangegeven door Jan Dirk ter Beek, oud 54 jaar en Hermannus van Ulzen, oud 48 jaar, aansprekers wonende te Enschede. Hiltje is overleden aan de Markt.
