      Andries Demoet by lotinge met frans franszn tot klapwaker geworden in plaats van de Bourgognes en heeft de eed gedaen.
      Maerten Dircx aangenomen tot noothulp in plaats van andries demoet, heeft eed gedaan.

      (Klapwakers of klappermannen waren nachtwakers die het dorp al klepperend rondgingen met een klep om de uren af te roepen en het misdadigersgilde te waarschuwen dat zij er aan kwamen.

      De vraag is of dit Andries zelf is die de functie bekleedt of zijn vader of een andere verwant.
      Pas in 1639 trouwt hij, dat is 16 jaar na dato.
      Het zou niet verwonderlijk zijn als ook de vader van Andries, Andries heet. De naam Andries wordt in de familie stug doorgezet. Ik ga er van uit dat eigenlijk de vader van Andries klapwaker en noothulp was.

      Het is niet zeker of onderstaande betrekking heeft op 'onze Andries' maar wel zeer aannemelijk. Immers hebben veel van zijn nazaten een militaire carrière.
