A notation in the church records is made re repair to "de toren van Tolbert bij reparatie gemeten en is hoog 106 voeten" = "The tower of Tolbert measured during repairs and measures 106 feet".


Re Pebe's death date: "Rechterlijke Archieven Provincie Groningen, Overzicht familie Leuringh Inv 529-546, 23 Apr 1734, Groninger Archieven. "Tettie Wymers, weduwe van Hatie Pebes, wettige voogdes over minderjarige dochter Ebeltie Haties. "

Found on Internet: In haar beide huwelijkscontracten (Tolbert, Tn 735 Inv nr 141 en Tn 735 Inv nr 195) staat dat MARTJE HALBES een zuster is van Alle Halbes (grietman), getrouwd met Diewerke Clasen. Er is ook nog een zuster Geertje Halbes. Hun moeder is Sijtje (Siedje, Sidje) Geerts. Vader is kennelijk overleden, want er is nu een stiefvader: Haatje Peebes (Piebes).
