    uit kerkelijke stukken blijkt dat Friedrich verschillende keren geprobeerd heeft om financiele ondersteuning te krijgen van de Hervormende Kerk in Holwierde. Dat werd afgewezen omdat hij ten eerste geen Nederlander was en geen lid was van de kerk en de kerk zelf geen financiele mogelijkheden had. Later kreeg hij wel privé hulp.
    Church documents prove that Friedrich tried several time to get financial support which he did not get from the church because he was not Dutch and not a member of the church and they didn't have the financial menas to do so. Later on he got help from a private person.
