Jennie Blom was born February 20, 1925 at New Sharon, IA, to Cornelious and Marie (Van Dorp) Blom. She was raised in Pella, IA where she attended grade school. She worked at Consolidated Aircraft at San Diego, CA and married Albert Kramer on February20, 1945, at Ocean Beach, CA. They farmed near Rowena, SD and later in the Rutland area. They moved to Nunda in 1975 and her husband died in 1981. She worked at May & Scofield in Madison and moved to Arlington in 1985 where she worked for the Bob Allen Co. She moved into Greenleaf Assisted Living in Brookings in 2003.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: her parents; her husband; one son, Wesley Kramer; one daughter Debra Kramer; one sister, Nellie Vande Hoef; two brothers, Jim and Jake Blom; and an infant brother.

SURVIVORS: three sons, Kenneth (Sandy) Kramer of Sioux Falls, James (Kristi) Kramer of Brookings and Bob (Glenda) Kramer of Volga; two daughters, Dawn (Scott) Mette of Bell Fourche, SD and Susan (Dan) Norgaard of Arlington; four brothers, John (Tillie) Blom of Rock Valley, IA, Arie (Calzina) Blom of Inwood, IA, Carnie (Jean) Blom of Corsica, SD and Henry Blom of Rock Valley, IA; one sister, Marie Schmidt of Storm Lake, IA; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
