Notes about Mary Jane (Cecelia) Harland

Thanks, Brian.
Our connection with the Joel family is on my wife's side. Her great grandmother, Mary Harland married John Joel, in London. She was a successful music hall singer - we have a copy of a programme for the Alhambra Theatre, where she was appearing as 'Inez Harland'.
At the moment we are still tracing things, and we are wondering why the Joels moved to London. They seem to have been successful in the drapery business, so perhaps it was a business opportunity? Thanks for your assistance, Chris Hawkins
