Hi Brian
It is exciting to find someone from your own family tree and even better when they are researchers. I can relate to -3 temps as we get that, and colder sometimes in our winters here in Canberra. At the moment we are getting quite a lot of mid 30's days which is too hot really.
Details I have for Thomas and Amelia's children:
Emma Lucy born 1871 married Albert Penfold Best in Lambeth in 1896.
Ernest George born 1873 married Fanny Georgina Hare in Fulham in 1904.
William Jonathon born 3 Jun 1875 at 25 Allen St, Lambeth (where the family were in the 1881 Census ) married Ada Georgina James in Blandford 1 Jun 1907. He died in Salisbury, Wiltshire in 1905.
Herbert born 1877 married Jenny. (I know no more than that).
Amelia Sarah born 1879 married Benjamin Robert Desbrow in Lambeth in 1901.
Joseph born 1881 in Southwark died 9 May 1915 in Belgium. He is in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission register which is available online. Our family has his medals and a photo.
Bye
Jane

1911 Census shows 1 child Rodney George Thomas age 1 b. Dulwich.
