SOURCES: Bernard Heinrich's parents' names were on his marriage record in 1916 at St Francis of Assisi parish and on his death record at the same parish. His date of birth was on his tombstone and the 1900 census. Because other Lagers were known to have come from Lengerich, that parish's records were checked and a corresponding birth/baptims entry was found there for Bernard Heinrich. On that entry there was a note mentioning Clinton County and the name Agnes Ficker born Overhoff. Information about the first wife and the chidlren was taken from Kathy Kuhl's WorldConnect database.
