The marriage record of Anna Catherina Haber to Lorentz Schnepp states that she was the daughter of "Hans Haber and Anna Barbara of Eckendorf." Hanns Haber, son of Simon Haber, wagoneer in Strasbourg, married Anna Barbara Hanns, daughter, of Ulrich Hanns at Eckendorf (now Alteckendorf), 14 Aug 1667. Research in the parish registers of Strasbourg revealed the birth date of Johannes Haber, son of Simon as well as additional information on Simon and his ancestors.
