Evelyn Marie Rand passed away at Merit Health Wesley Hospital on August 20, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Lee Rand and her daughter, Sylvia Ann Wood.

Survivors include her children, Brenda Beasley (Earl) of Laurel, Linda Logan of Seminary, Renae Swartz (Keith) of Corinth, Nelda Spears (Frank) of Seminary, Sandra Morgan (Marc) of Seminary, Rebecca Harrington (Randy) of Monticello, KY; Wayne Rand (Sherry) of Ovett, Nancy Kitchens (Andy) of Pascagoula; 31 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren; and a host of friends.

She was a homemaker, faithful wife, and awesome mother and grandmother. She was a dedicated member of the Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Seminary

Memory Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be August 22 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, at Memory Chapel. Rev. Randy Sanford and Rev. Colon Rowell will officiate. Interment will be at Sharon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Melvin Hollinghead, Robert Morgan, Chris Harrington, Earl Beasley, Harvey Spears, and Aaron Rowell. Honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Callahan and Jack Lewis.
