    Notes from Obituary event: Albert Tuttle Jr., 71, of McComb, died April 22, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb, and 9 a.m. Tuesday until services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jerry Terrell will officiate. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.

    Mr. Tuttle was born Oct. 24, 1937, in Pike County to Albert Tuttle Sr. and Callie Freeman Tuttle.

    He retired from the oil field business, where he worked for many years. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

    His wife, Dorothy L. Tuttle of Magnolia, said he was a very loving and kind husband, father and grandfather. She said he was an excellent provider for his family and will be sadly missed.

    Mr. Tuttle was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. Survivors include his wife; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Tuttle of Magnolia and Daryle Tuttle and Rhonda of Lucedale; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Diana Wilburn and husband Bill and Tammy Erkhart and husband Mitchell, all of Lucedale, Kathy McKenzie and husband Mike and Donna Theriot, all of Magnolia, and Sharon Bryant of San Antonio, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Murphy Tuttle and wife Mary of Brookhaven; two sisters, Marie Rand of Laurel and Peggy Stablier of Gulfport; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Pallbearers will be Cody Woodall, Frank Brown, John Jackson, Curtis Russell, Richard Phelps and Jeremy Boyanton.
