Oberregierungsrat a.D.Dr. Alfred Zeller, Stuttgart, schreibt in Zellerbildnisse und Zellerschicksale aus 3 Jahrhunderten, zu 9. Hans Zeller und Dr. Karl August Zeller, *1898: Die Zwillingsbrüder erhielten ihre Schulbildung in Stuttgart. (Hans ...) Karl August trat 1916 nach Ablegung der Maturitätsprüfung als Artilleriefreiwilliger beim Heere ein, wurde aber als garnisonsdienstverwendungsfähig nicht ins Feld mitgenommen, sondern bei der Militärpolizeizentrale verwendet. Nach dem Kriege studierte und promovierte er als Jurist in Tübingen, wo er sich der Burschenschaft "Germania" anschloß. Mit seinem Bruder beteiligte er sich 1920 an dem Ausmarsch nach der Ruhr, zuvor war er an dem Zug nach München beteiligt gewesen. Nach dem 1. Examen war er Referendar in Stuttart, trat nach der 2. Prüfung in den Dienst der Verwaltung Ã;¼ber, war Amtmann in Vaihingen an der Enz und ist nun Regierungsrat beim Oberamt Freudensatdt. Verheiratet ist er mit Hede geb. Haidlen, Rechtsanwaltstochter aus Stuttgart, und Vater eines 1929 geborenen Sohnes Hans Konrad sowie einer Tochter.
