Geboren op 10 maart 1903 te Tilburg is vader na het ontvangen van het sacrament dor zieken op 4 november 1981 overleden. Vanuit de kerk van ,,de Goede Herder'' hebben we hem ten grave gedragen.
Woorden zijn ontoereikend. Ondoorgrondelijk wat er in je omgaat, nu je oog in oog staat met het diepe mysterie van leven en dood. Frans hebben we gekend als een uiterst actieve en bewogen mens. Zijn belangstelling reikte ver, met name in de gezonde jaren van zijn leven met naast zich de warme nabijheid van zijn vrouw.
Diep getroffen, als vader met ons was, -toen we zo plotseling afscheid moesten nemen van moeder -is er een ingrijpende verandering gekomen in zijn leven. Ziek-zijn is hem niet bespaard gebleven en ook de beperktheden van het ouder worden tekenden zich af. De laatste paar jaren had vader zijn thuis ge- vonden in "De Hazelaar", waar hij, naast warme en liefdevolle zorg, vrienden ontmoette en zelfs een oud-vriend van jaren her, die ook zeer veel voor hem heeft betekend.
Wij kunnen niet anders, dan vader uit handen geven. Met pijn in ons hart en met diepe gevoelens van dankbaarheid voor alles wat vader voor ons en vele andere mensen heeft kunnen betekenen, vertrouwen wij vader nu toe aan de Heer van alle leven.
Wij, als zijn kinderen en kleinkinderen. leven verder In verbondenheid met vader en opa, over de horizon van dit leven heen.
Dank vooralook aan familieleden en aan hen, die Frans nabij waren.
Zijn en onze God geve vader de voltooiing van zijn leven samen met moeder en hen, die ons in de dood zijn voorgegaan.
Voor uw blijken van deelneming, betoond bij zijn heengaan, betuigen wij u onze oprechte dank.
