    "Den 10 december 1802 begraven Samuel de Zoete en Jannetje Blok in de Kerk Noordpand tegen de buitenmuur achter den gildenmeestersbank kort in den hoek tegen het beschot van de hagebanken. Kerkeregt als voorzanger: vrij, beide in Classe f. 6,-- Mijn vader was hier (=) sedert het jaar 1752 school meester en is met mijn moeder getrouwd geweest 50 1/2 jaar. Zijn beiden op eene dag dog 4 1/2 uur na elkander gestorven, achter elkander gedragen en op elkander begraven.".
