Notes about Neeltje Schardam

Op 2 febr. 1885 werd door Neeltje Schardam, wonende te Oudorp, als weduwe en boedelhoudster en voogdes over haar enige zoon Cornelis Wit, een memorie van aangifte van de nalatenschap van Gerrit Wit ingediend, in leven timmerman te Amsterdam. De boedel bestond uit een berdrag van fl 372,60, waarvan fl 356 aan inboedel en goud en zilver, en fl 16,60 aan kontant geld;
de helft hiervan was de nalatenschap van de overledene, waarvan na aftrek van de fl 80 begrafeniskosten netto de wat magere som van fl 106,30 overbleef.
Na de dood van haar man ging Neeltje Schardam samen met haar zoontje aanvankelijk weer in Oudorp wonen.
