Kaas Jansz Schardam, werd in 1718 en 1721 ook Crood en Kroot genoemd, zoon van Jan Jansz Schardam en Grietje Claas, deed wellicht belijdenis te Beets op 30 juli 1700, overl. na 1739
Klaas Schardam was te Beets diaken (1714) en ouderling (1739). Hij bezat in Beets in 1733 een huis, - opgenomen in de verponding onder nr. 43, met een huurwaarde van 25 gulden, hetgeen neerkwam op een huis iets boven het gemiddelde. Voor de verponding werd hij aangeslagen voor 2 gulden en 2 stuivers.99
