Kinderen uit dit 2e huwelijk: Johanna (gehuwd met Ewe Schuurman), Gerrit en Johan. Johan had in 1935 een kruidenierswinkel in Nijmegen en emigreerde naar Australie. Bij aankomst was daar een grote staking, waarna hij berooid terugkeerde. Enkele jaren later is hij definitief geemigreerd naar Australie als tegelzetter.
