    Op 12 mei j.l. overleed Lambertus (Bart) Bakker, lid en - sinds we een stichting zijn - donateur van de Historische Kring Laren en voor velen in Laren een goede bekende. Hij beschikte over een uitgebreid archief met betrekking tot de geschiedenis van ons dorp. Diverse malen mochten we daaruit putten voor publikatie in ons kwartaalbericht. Ons bestuurslid Ir. van Tol heeft veel met hem samengewerkt, hetgeen tot interessante artikelen leidde. Zijn streven was steeds de echte en de niet gefantaseerde geschiedenis van Laren te leren kennen en wij hebben daarvan mee mogen profiteren. We verloren in hem een plezierig mens en een zeer gewaardeerd lid/donateur.
