Hieronimus (alias Hero Frisius, Loeringa, Loringa), geb ca 1500
Hieronimus, dijkrechter, dijkenbouwer, kerkvoogd en armenverzorger te Norden, geb ca 1500, zoon van Adolf Loringa en NN Ennen Meners, overleed op 05-05-1581 in Norden (O.Fr), plm 81 jaar oud. Hieronimus:
(1) trouwde met Menver Harringa.
(2) trouwde, plm 40 jaar oud, ca 1540 met Folxta Meners Deteleff, ook genoemd Folseta en Reiners, plm 20 jaar oud, geb ca 1520, dochter van Enno Meners Deteleff , wonende te Osterhusen, wapen opgaande leeuw en NN Hijbinga, wapen: in groen driezilveren rozen, op de helm tussen twee zilveren struisveren een gouden lelie.
Folxta Meners overleed op 21-09-1559, plm 39 jaar oud.
Folxta had het familiewapen van de Detelefs uit Osterhusen (opgaande leeuw).
Er is een eiken sierkist bewaard gebleven uit het huwelijk van Folxta Meners Deteleff met Wilhelm Hieronimus Loringa met daarop vier familiewapens, te weten: Loringa (3 ringen in wijnranken) Meners (ossehoorn) Deteleff (opgaande leeuw) en Hijbinga (3 rozen).
De kist zou in het begin van de 20ste eeuw nog in bezit zijn geweest van Adolf Rijkena, burgemeester van Norden.
