M. C. DUTMER DIES AT HOME OF HIS SON.

MARTIN C. DUTMER, 85 years old, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of his son, CORNELIUS DUTMER, 1589 Park avenue, after a long illness.

He was born in the Netherlands Oct. 18, 1845 and came to this country in April, 1880, settling in Muskegon. He was married to ALTJE DANHOF in the Netherlands in 1879. Two years after their arrival in this city they built a small home at 458 Grandavenue where they made their home for 48 years. Mrs. Dutmer died July 18, 1930, when 77 years old. Mr. Dutmer was formerly employed as a laborer for the City of Muskegon. He was a member of the First Berean Reformed Church.

Surviving are, two sons, CORNELIUS DUTMER, at whose home he died, and HARRY DUTMER, of Muskegon, five daughter, MRS. HOWARD DUNLAP, of Minneapolis, Minn., MRS. RAYMOND VanKREVELING, of Minneapolis, MRS. JOSEPH KLEMP, MRS. HENRY POSTEMA and MRS. HENRY HARTMAN, all of Muskegon, and eighteen grandchildren.
