    Lid verzet behorend tot de Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten. Stutvoet is door de SD gearresteerd wegens zijn verzetswerk. Hij verzorgde distributiebonkaarten aan onderduikers. Stutvoet werd gefusilleerd tijdens de massaexecutie van 117 mannen als wraakneming voor een aanslag op de SS-bevelhebber in Nederland Hanns Albin Rauter. Aan de hand van een zakbijbeltje dat hij eens van zijn moeder had gekregen volgde zijn identificatie. Oorspronkelijk begraven te Ugchelen, gemeente Apeldoorn. Op 5 mei 1945 met militaire eer herbegraven op de algemene begraafplaats Kranenburg te Zwolle, gemeentegraf, ererij vak A, nr. 21.
