      Baldadigheid of aanranding?

      Aan de oproeping hier te verschijnen
      had geen gehoor gegeven een zekere Ja--
      cob Zwaan van Opperdoes, die op 14
      Aug. te ongeveer half zes de moed heeft
      gehad een 21-jarige jonge dame, met
      name Tohanna Warmerdam uit Egmond
      I a. d. Hoef die met haar zuster een fiets-
      tocht door de Wieringermeer had ge-
      maakt, nabij den dijk te Opperdoes, bij
      den keel te grijpen en van haar fiets op
      den grond te werpen. Juffrouw Warmer-
      dam. wel hevig geschrokken, bleek ech--
      i ter door deze 28-iarige Opperdoezer klei--
      I trapper niet uit het veld geslagen. Ook
      zij wist zich te ontdoen van een schoen
      1 en trakteerde daarmede den aanrander
      in zijn gezicht, sloeg rechts en links en
      wist met hulp van haar zuster, inmid-
      dels ook toegeschoten, de slungel van
      zich te verwijderen.
      Juffrouw Warmerdam met haar zus-
      ter, thans hier als getuige aanwezig
      meende uit de houding van beklaagde,
      welke de meisjes reeds eenige argwaan
      deed wekken, eerder met een geval van
      aanranding dan baldadigheid te doen te
      hebben. Door de onverschrokkenheid en het
      dappere verweer der meisjes, mag ech-
      ter alleen gesproken worden van balda-
      digheid.
