Notes about Eltie Freerk Vos

Eltje of Eltie Freerks Vos wordt tussen 1732 en 1761 veelvuldigd benoemd als lidmaat van de kerk of als genomineerde voor functie van diakonie of ouderling. In 1761 wordt hij ook als ouderling gekozen. Er zijn ook jaren bij waarin hij niet als lidmaat werd genoemd.

In 1723 doet Eltje Freerks Vos beleidenis, in hetzelfde jaar dat hij ok trouwd met Grietje Eppes.

In het huwelijkscontract worden de namen van betrokken familie niet met Vos aangevuld.

Een afkoopbrief wordt opgesteld tussen de voogden over het onmondige kind van Marcus Jans bij Grietje Eppes, nu gehuwd met de stiefvader Eltje Frericks Vos. Bereffende de behuizing met de heerd van 27 grazen eigen land onder Farmsum en 2 grazen onder Uitwierde. (het vermogen komt dus via Grietje Eppes, van haar man Marcus Jans)

In 1738 verhuizen Eltje Frericks Vos en zijn vrouw naar Tuikwerd. Hier krijgen ze bedrijf nr 55 als beklemmende meiers in hun bezit (huur met rechtsbescherming).

Op de lijst van Farmsumer grastallen van 1755 staat Eltje Frericks Vos genoteerd met 45 grazen in volle eigendom, 21,5 grazen van monsieur Modderman en 2 grazen van de heer Poel.
