Notes about Dirk Dirksz (den Jonge) VERLOOP


Doopgetuige was Katrijntje Dirksdr Verloop, zuster van vader. Hij was metselaar.
Hij was drie keer gehuwd, laatstelijk met Maartje Heimensdr Verhagen (zie afbeelding). Hun zoon Heijman zette dit geslacht voort in de Hoeksche Waard (1e tak). Andere genealogen hebben Maartje Verhagen abusievelijk aangehaakt als echtgenote van Dirk Dirksz (*1754), een zoon van deze Dirk en zijn eerste vrouw Anna Dekker. Het grote leeftijdsverschil tussen Dirk en Maartje (hij was 52 en zij was 28) was de vermoedelijke reden van deze verkeerde verbinding. Dirk overleed al enkele jaren na zijn derde huwelijk (Rijerkerk op Geneanet vermeld datum van overlijden op 31 december 1776).
