Was at one time, Pastor in Alphen a/d Rijn. He mentioned to Johannes Th Verkleij-1888 that there was a farm for sale in the Ridderbuurt near Alphen. The previous owners, de Dubbelden, had no children. The farm is known as "Brentano"s Yvervrught". (Brentano's fruit of labour).
