Gerrit woonde in 1749 al te Wiesel in een huis dat aan de noordzijde grensde aan de Molenbeek en
ten zuiden aan de gemeente.Gerrit was, als weduwnaar van Stijntje Reinders voor zijn onmondige
kinderen Reinder en Teunisje betrokken bij transport na overdracht aan de erfgenamen van Reinder
Gerrits van een Herengoed in de buurtschap Noord-Apeldoorn (Herengoederen op de Veluwe, deel 4
nr. 716). Het Herengoed, genaamd Ten Holten, bestond uit "1 morgen hooiland, genaamd de Lange
Maten en een ½ morgen zaailand in de Looschenenck". Zelf had hij een Herengoed in pacht in de
buurtschap Broekland bij Beemte, ong. 3 km ten oosten van Wenum. Dit goed, genaamd Ter Stege of
Derck Tijmansgoed, bestond uit "10 of 11 molder waartoe geen leegh lant is gehorend, noch enig
eijckenholts (8 of 9 jaar olt). Een ½ deel is Wisselerbosch, welcke met het voorsegde goed is
gekocht"Gerrit Gerritsen heeft dd. 16-09-1812 bij acte nr. 28 aangenomen de geslachtsnaam
