    Zij werd geboren te Werkhoven op 13 nov. 1880 en zij gat haar ziel aan God terug, na voorzien te zijn van het H. Oliesel, op 8 oef. 1062. Haar lichaam werd begraven II oct. op het r.k. kerkhof te Werkhoven.
    God, die de blijde gevers liefheeft, nam zonder 'n zweem ven lijden tot zich, Barbara Geertruida Beemer.
    Trouwhartig en opgewekt heeft zij haar lange leven naar God toegeleefd.
    Of het nu haar familie was, waaraan zij zo hing - of de zieken, die ze regelmatig bezocht - of het Wit Gele Kruis, waarvoor ze jaren moedig op pad ging - of de verplichtingen van de Derde Orde, die, hoewel vrijwillig opgenomen, voor haar els echte verplichtingen golden - alles deed ze met een trouwe regelmaat, en zo onbekommerd, dat het dikwijls zonder moeite gedaan leek.
    Daardoor maakte zij de indruk een gelukkig mens te zijn, tevreden In de haar geschonken levenssfeer. Misschien 1s zij juist daardoor gegroeid tot die grotere, algemene belangstelling voor de Kerk, waarvan In haar laatste dagen haar Intens meeleven met hel concilie het bewijs was.
    Treuren om haar heengaan, kunnen wij niet. Daarvoor was het te veel een overgaan naar een betere Rijk.
    Moge zij door Gods barmhartigheid reeds zijn binnengetreden In dat Rijk. En van daar uit met dezelfde trouw haar dierbaren hier gedenken, en heel bijzonder haar zuster en levensgezellin.
    Heer, geef haar de eeuwige rust en het eeuwige licht verlichte haar.
