Notes about Hermanus Franciscus "Harrie" van Essenberg

Harrie vertrok naar Duitsland om een muziekschool op te richten. Dit lukte niet gelijk en hij ging werken bij een scheeps-maatschappij in Bremen. Hij leerde Margret Tornow kennen en die vertelde dat ze zwanger was van hem.
Dit was niet helemaal waar want zij wilde met hem trouwen. Een leugentje om bestwil. Het stel leefde al gauw gescheiden nadat er toch een kind geboren was. Na ongeveer 7 jaar is er alsnog een scheiding uitgesproken.
Na hertrouwd te zijn met Christa stichtte Harrie een Musikschule in Lauf en vanuit wijde omtrek kwamen musicie om bij Harrie les te krijgen. Hij had diverse bands waarmee hij door het land en buitenland reisde. Tevens had hij een jazzband The Starback-Quartet.
Ook heeft hij het Gloria in Excelsis Deo voor fanfare herschreven.
