Vrouwe Christina Wassink, weduwe van wijlen de heer Dr. Johan Swaan, zo voor haar zelf en mede in kwaliteit van gemachtigde van haar zoon de heer Ernestus Sigismundt Swaan, Lt. ten dienste van de Staat, ingevolge volmacht, op 26-02-1741 voor stadhouder en gerichtslieden der heerlijkheid Westervoort gepasseerd, voorts de heer en Mr. Johan Christiaan Swaan zo voor zich zelf en mede als ggemachtigde van zijn ehevrouw vrouwe Elisabeth Cornelia Etzarda Chenel ingevolge volmacht, op gisteren voor burgemeesters, schepenen en raden der stad Nijmegen gepasseerd, en dan nog laatstelijk de Juffrouwen gezusters Anna Geertruijt, Johanna Elisabeth en Maria Sibilla en Jacoba Swaan, alle kinderen en erfgenamen van wijlen de heer Johan Swaan bij eerste comparante in ehestand geprocreeerd, cederen, transporteren en dragen op aan en ten erfelijke behoeve van de heer Hendrik Willem Coutier, bedienaar des godlijken woords te Middelburg, hun, comparanten, huis, hof, koetshuis en stal [enz.], voorts met zijn behangsels, platen [enz.], zoals het de comparanten bij lotcedulle van 23-12-1713 is toegedeeld, staande alhier in de Bentingsteeg en door de comparanten bewoond wordt, vanouds genaamd het Hoff van Batenburgh, bekennende van de kooppenningen ad 9000 gl. tot genoegen voldaan en betaald te zijn [enz.]; (Bron: Gelders Archief)
