Notes about Geertruijd Aarjens van Gorcom

Met betrekking tot het overlijden van haar eerste man Hendrick Coppe in 1696 is er een vermelding over de grafstede: "deese groeff behoorde Gerit Lauwerensz; in anno 1645 heeft Gerit Laurensz deese groeffstede vercoft aen Meerten Adriaensz van Gorichum".

Met betrekking tot het overlijden van haar zoontje Hendricus Coppe in 1698 is er eenzelfde vermelding over de grafstede: "deese groeff behoorde Gerit Lauwerensz; in anno 1645 heeft Gerit Laurensz deese groeffstede vercoft aen Meerten Adriaensz van Gorichum". Overledene: "een kindt van de wed[uwe] van Hendrick Coppe".

Hieruit blijkt dat Meerten Adriaensz van Gorichum zeer waarschijnlijk de grootvader was van Geertruijd Aarjens van Gorcom, de moeder van Hendricus, die in eerste instantie in het graf voor Hendrick Coppe, haar man (overleden in 1696) en daarna in dat voor Hendricus, haar zoontje heeft voorzien.
