Notes about Dirk Nout

Doopnaam is Dirck van Soelen, gedoopt op 08-03-1716 te Tricht als 'onecht kind' van Jannetje Gerrets van Soelen.
Naam komt ook voor als Dirck, Derck en Dierk.

Volgens meerdere bronnen op internet zou Jannetje Gerrets van Soelen in haar kraambed tegen de vroedvrouw en enkele buurvrouwen hebben verteld dat Dirck Francken Noudt de vader van haar kind was. Dirck Francken Noudt ontkende dat.
Die zaak is kennelijk voor het gerecht gebracht, maar er is geen uitspraak bekend. Dirck van Soelen zou zich later Dirk Nout noemen.
Hoewel het bovenstaande erg vaag en niet te onderbouwen is, is het wel een feit dat de eerste dochter van Dirk en zijn vrouw de naam Jannigjen kreeg ....
