In het Ondertrouwboek Groningen 1719-1727, folio 194 is het huwelijk geregistreerd van Margijn Boelens, van Groningen met Johannes Ringels, van Wittewierum. Bij het overlijden van Johannes wordt vermeld in het Breukdodenboek Groningen 1729-1794, folio 170 dat hij bakker is.
Uit dit huwelijk worden twee dochters en drie zonen geboren, alle in de Oude Boteringestraat en gedoopt in Groningen:
1. Grietjen Jans Ringels, gedoopt 16 december1725, gehuwd met Hindrik Vechnerus, zij wonen in de Kleine Kromme Elleboog;
2. Berent Jans Ringels, gedoopt 9 december 1727;
3. Lubbe Jans Ringels, gedoopt 25 december1728, geboren in de Oude Boteringestraat;
4. Anna Jans Ringels, gedoopt 22 november1730, overleden in juli 1775 in Groningen, zij is gehuwd 6 mei 1758 in Groningen met Cornelis Kuitert;
5. Sijbrant Jans Ringels, gedoopt 4 augustus1733, gehuwd 22 maart 1758 in Groningen met Elsje Bloemhof, van Groningen. Zij huwt 29 maart 1761 in Groningen als weduwe van Sijbrand Ringels met Willem Fridrich Falckenstein, van Erlangen.

(2) She is married to Hindrick Ubbens.

They got married on April 12, 1738 at Groningen, she was 36 years old.Source 4

In het Ondertrouwboek Groningen 1732-1739, folio 169v is het huwelijk geregistreerd van Hindrick Ubbens, van Groningen met Marchjen Boelens, van Groningen, weduwe van Jannes Ringels p.q. Albert Dillinck als zwager. Bij het overlijden van Hendrik Ubbens wordt in het Register van de opbrengsten uit de verhuur van lijklakens uit de Martini-, de A- en de Nieuwe kerk Groningen 1768-1776, folio 96 vermeld dat hij makelaar is.
Uit dit huwelijk worden nog een dochter en een zoon geboren in de Steentilstraat en gedoopt in de Martinikerk in Groningen: 1. Gesina op 4 september 1739 en 2. Jan op 20 mei 1742.
