Uit dit huwelijk worden drie kinderen in Hoogezand geboren:
1.op 26 juni 1829 een maand na hun huwelijk hun dochter Jantje Venema
2.op 22 juni 1834 hun zoon Arend Venema
3.op 28 juni 1836 hun dochter Antje Venema.
Op 27 januari 1819 heeft Jantje reeds een zoon gekregen genaamd Hidde Hendrikus Pesman Danhof (Geboorteregister Baflo 1819, aktenummer 5); hoewel geen vader genoemd wordt zal dit wellicht ene Hidde Hendrikus Pesman zijn, die geboren is in Tinallinge van beroep koopman is en op 28 juli 1826 in het huwelijk treedt met Trijntje Hessels Mellema.
