In het Ondertrouwboek van Groningen uit die periode heb ik niets kunnen vinden en in Alle Groningers staat over de huwelijksdatum niets vermeld wel de gedoopten uit dit huwelijk zijn terug te vinden.

Na het overlijden van Aafje Bosch in 1766 hertrouwt Sijbrandus Stratingh met Elsina Groeneveld op 17 februari 1771 in Groningen. Elsina is geboren in Kirchborgum (Dld.). Zij is de dochter van Else Hindriks Groeneveld en Aaltjen Ames. Uit dit huwelijk worden nog twee kinderen geboren:

VI. Aleida Elizabeth Stratingh geboren op 10 april 1772, gedoopt op 22 april 1772 en overleden op 4 september 1772

VII. Sibrandus Elzoo Stratingh geboren op 3 juli 1774, gedoopt op 13 juli 1774 en overleden op 16 juni 1846 in Groningen. Hij was apotheker te Groningen (1808-1816) en hoogleraar geneeskunde (1812-1844) te Groningen.

Na het overlijden van Sijbrandus Stratingh hertrouwt Elsina Groeneveld op 23 februari 1784 met Gosewinus Acker, van Leeuwarden.
