Berend Hendricks Kuilenberg/Culenborg is vermoedelijk een zoon van Henricus Culenborg die in Gross Hesepe (D) woont. Bernardus Kuilenberg is vermoedelijk schoenmaker te Helpen (Helpman). In het Ondertrouwboek Groningen 1739-1747, Inventarisnummer 179, folio 249v staat op 13 augustus de registratie vermeld van het huwelijk van Bernardus Hindricks, van Pekela met Wobbijna Harms, van Beerta, waarvoor de registratie wordt gedaan doorJan Berents als zwager Op dezelfde dag wordt ook het huwelijk (zeer ongebruikelijk of de registratie heeft al eerder plaatsgevonden) gesloten door dom. Rauwerts in de Martinikerk in Groningen. Een week later op 20 augustus 1747 wordt het huwelijk ingezegend in de Caroliewegkerk in Groningen tussen Bernardus Hendricks en Walburgis Herms met als huwelijksgetuigen Ludovicus Valois en A. Herms. Wobbina is gedoopt op 8 september 1970 in Beerta samen met haar tweelingbroer Hindrik. Als vader wordt vermeld Harm, de achternaam c.q. patroniem is niet vermeeld evenals de naam van de moeder. Als berope van Harm wordt schoe(n)maker vermeld en in de opmerkingen bij de doop wordt vermeld: "ouders zijn beide rooms-katholiek; echter heeft de vader beloofd de kinderen hier te laten onderwijzen en niet te forceren tot het aannemen van de roomse religie".
