Haringh Siercks Donia is overleden in 1463. Haringh woonde op Donia state in Nylan (Nieuwland) en in 1462, toen hij zijn state kwijt raakte, ging hij wonen op Hiddema state. Van 1455 tot 1460 was hij grytman van Wymbritseradeel. In het begin van september 1462 neemt Haring Donia, trots op de macht van zijn geslacht, ‘Hiddemahuis’ op Nieuwland in, laat grachten en wallen daar rondom graven en gaat er wonen. Hij sneuvelt op 11 oktober 1463 bij het klooster Aalsum in de grietenij Utingeradeel een half uurtje van Irnsum.
Zijn vrouw is niet bij name bekend, wel is een kind uit dit huwelijk bekend: Mijrck Donia.
