In het Ondertrouwboek Groningen 1732-1739, folio 79 wordt op 9 april 1735 het voorgenomen huwelijk vermeld van Willem Gerhart Schults, van Jever en Trijntien Lantingh, van Gieten, waarbij de registratie voor Trijntien gedaan wordt door Willem Alles als neef. Op 9 mei 1735 wordt in Groningen het huwelijk gesloten door ds Themmen.

Na Het overlijden van Trijntjen Lantingh in maart1743 hertrouwt Willem Schults een jaar later op 22 mei 1744 in de Martinikerk in Groningen met Jantjen Veenhof. Het huwelijk wordt voltrokken door ds Tjassens. De registratie van het huwelijk op 25 april 17 44 wordt voor Jantjen gedaan door haar broer Jan Veenhof. In de kantlijn wordt vermeld: “de bruidegom afkoop te maken”.

Uit dit huwelijk worden nog zes kinderen geboren:
1.Jacob Schulte, geboren aan de oostzijde van de A en gedoopt op 31 januari 1745 in de A-kerk in Groningen en overleden eind mei 1771 in Groningen.
2.Trijntien Schults, geboren bij de A en gedoopt op 29 juli 1746 in de Martinikerk in Groningen en overleden op 11 april 1819 in Groningen.
3.Janna Schults, geboren bij de A en gedoopt op 31 januari 1748 in de A-kerk in Groningen.
4.Jannes Schutte, geboren bij de A en gedoopt op 25 juni 1749 in de A-kerk in Groningen.
5.Margareta Schultz, geboren aan de oostzijde van de A en gedoopt op 27 oktober 1751 in de A-kerk in Groningen.
6.Martinus Schultz, geboren bij de A en gedoopt op 8 april 1753 in de A-kerk in Groningen.
