Trientje is eerder getrouwd geweest met Roelf Postma (registratie 26 juni 1791 Nieuwe Pekela) en zal na het overlijden van Willem Vetter nog twee keer hertrouwen op 20 januari 1820 met Jakob Reisiger en op 7 januari 1825 met Jan Roelfs Roos van beroep kastelein, beide keren in Groningen.
