Johannes hoort bij de 3e generatie van de Lieshoutse brouwerij aan de Kerkdijk later Bavaria. Hij was nooit eigenaar. Eerst brouwde hij voor zijn moeder, na haar overlijden voor zus Helena
In 1720 werd de nalatenschap van Hendrick van Moorsel en Josina Vereijcken verdeeld. Er waren zeven erfgenamen. Onder leiding van de drossaard van Lieshout vond de deling plaats "bij blinde loote". Helena van Moorsel (ongetrouwde dochter) trok het derde lot en werd daarmee eigenaresse van "huijs, hoff, groes en teullant gelegen alhier op de Kerckdijk groot omtrent 10 loopense (= 1,7 hectare) met de brouwerij en desselfs toebehoore". Daarnaast verkreeg zij nog enkele percelen grond en enkele roerende zaken waaronder twee koetsen.
