Zij vestigden zich ca 1777 te Ouwerkerk; op 12-06-1777 leverde Gijsbrecht Manusse aan Leendert van As een huis, schuur en erve aan de oostzijde van de Zuidstraat te Ouwerkerk (RAZE 4689). Zij verhuisden op 08-10-1786 met attestatie vanuit Ouwerkerk naar Sint Maartensdijk, waar zij in 1797 aan de oostzijde van de Markt woonden. Hun zoon Cornelis vestigde zich in 1793 vanuit Sint Maartensdijk te Oosterland. Volgens de volkstelling van 1811 verhuisden zijzelf in 1810 vanuit Zierikzee naar Nieuwerkerk.
